OPINIONS ON THE APEXI WORLD SPORT EXHAUST FOR A GSR....
How much did you pay for it and how do you like it? If you have pictures please post them up. I tried searching because I remember there was a topic back in the day on it, but no luck. I want to hear some opinions. I am looking for something mild, that doesn't have a loud noise to it.
Thanks in advance,

hey wassup evil,
one of my friends has one on his GSR, he paid 350 for it at rollhard.com its a newjersey internet shop...its the perfect sleeper exhaust, IMO i think this is the kinda exhaust that should be stock on all sporty cars...the look and sound is great! only on WOT is when u actually hear this...thats why i don't have an exhaust yet...i like to hear my engine then my exhaust, but im gonna get an N1 for performance
also i rmember that topic, u tried to search for...the main issue is does it restrict power when u mod it alot...if your going to have major power like 200 wheels hp then you'd probably get a different one...

Just called them they said $350 but then you have to pay for shipping so it ends up being $400 bucks. My friend is hooking me up for $365. So I think I will go with him. Any other opinions?
On the other hand I am most likely going turbo. But this is a cheap cat back that I can probably resel for $300 in a month or two. I used to have a type R cat back and I really loved it. But I want something with a little more sound to try out.

Yeah, like they said it is very quiet...in fact maybe even too quiet for some people. You can really only hear it at WOT or at very low rpm's. But it is a nice mellow deep sound, very classy and sleeperish. You can't really go wrong for the price.
I will keep you in mind. Yes I am paying $365 shipped to my friends shop, I just need something before I boost the car to drive around on.

Take off the cat and it is actually a sweet sounding exhaust! with the cat...don't plan on listening to it ever, because you will never hear it

I haven't heard one on an integra, but I have heard it on a prelude. All I can say is that it is absolutely stock sounding. It is way quieter than my RSR, and I always thought that the RSR was the quietest exhaust. I guess I was wrong. Is this the same for the integra's? Is the WS really quieter than the RSR?

Evil..keep in mind that there is prolly 1 post a week on this friggin exaust. It's probably cause it's one of the most popular and cheapest catbacks at this time...
Exhausts on 97+ Preludes are a lot quieter than normal. I rode in a Prelude with an N1 and it wasn't even that bad...I'd definitely get an N1 if I had a Prelude. It's different with our Integras.
The WS is definitely something you should look at if you want something mellow and sleeper-ish. Most people will notice it though because of the mirror-like finish of the can.
Hmm...I'll have to think about getting a test-pipe. I'd like something a tad louder.

I was deciding between the apexi world sport and the tanabe hyper medallion. When choosing, I heard both were almost the same... price and sound. I ended up getting the tanabe and I'm really satisfied. The sound is not insane, and is a nice mellow bassy tone. It is the same tip size as the apex (i think) and has a clean stock look. I also went with the tanabe because it was a straight through design and I heard that the world sport was a chambered design. I figure straight through will give better power with more mods...
i'd say go for it nice looking peice that is quiet and fairly cheap, and plus if you sell it there is already folks looking to buy if off you.
Already ordered the exhaust. I think its a good price for what I am getting. What other company offers a nice quit non ricy cat back for $365. Plus I got a good deal on it, can't complain.
I am still looking for pictures though

One thing to note..... I was looking into the WS exhaust and it looks very good, but It is NOT Stainless.... It only has a stainless muffler. The B pipe is only has a coating on it. I live in CT where winters would play havac on it, So I am now looking at Thermal all SS stealth. Have any questions let me know!
Actually its stainless with a coating over the stainless. All Apexi mufflers are like that. According to their site and according to the add in all the magazines, thats what it says. Stainless steel and coating over it is very good for the winter
. Something to reconsider.
