Who has oil temp., oil press., and H2O temp. gauges installed in their R?
Does anyone have oil temp., oil press. and water temp. gauges installed in their car? If so which brand did you go with? And, where did you mount it? Also, is it analog or digital? Lastly, pictures would be appreciated. Thanks.
I run all three in my R. I mounted a VDO oil pressure gauges in the dash, where the dimmer **** use to be. My water and oil temp. gauges are AutoMeter analogs as well, and were mounted on a carbon fiber plate which replaced the radio and ashtray.
Here is a link to the shop that did the work on my car (these are pics of my car.) You can at least see the two AutoMeter gauges.

Andy - do you have any aftermarket cooling devices in your car? i.e. aftermarket radiator, rad. cap, thermostat, oil cooler, etc? Have you been able to monitor the difference? Thanks.
I have one of those Autometer bezel mounts for my oil pressure and temp gauges. I will post pics as soon as everything is in.
Nope, no additional aftermarket cooling, yet. After my last race in 105+ degree weather on a 1.7 mile street course, it actually started getting a little hot. I will be installing at least a new Fluidyne radiator and possibly an oil cooler before my next race at California Speedway.

[Edit] Anyone heard of Defi guages? Are these any good? [/Edit]

I don't have much time to give you details right now, but I can give you more info later tonight...
I have Autometer Sport Comp h2o temp & oil press in the AutoMeter instrument cluster bezel...
Tips:
1)If you install the water temp sender in the heater hose, it works much better than trying to cram both under the distributor HOWEVER, you much connect a ground wire touching the sendor/T-fitting to the block to ground it or you wont have a signal sent to the guage!
2)If you instal an oil pressure guage, mount the sender to the firewall via clamps, wireties, straps (whatever you are comfortable with - I am using a clamp & some epoxy) then connect the sender to the T-fitting using flexible pressure rated hose in a loop {can't find the pic I used before...I can look later} This keeps the pressure off of the fitting (extra weight) especially if you run your car hard. You don't want the brass fitting to wear out + it's RIGHT beside the oil filter & mine originally touched...
Hope this helps - email me if you need more assistance - I gotta get back to work!
