On my '95 'lude vtec, my gauges the other day started to blink a couple of times and then stop and show my fuel at full and my temp showing nothing. It's been that way ever since. I've checked all my fuses in the car and under the hood and their fine. Today I got in it, though, and the temp was showing half right from the start and fuel was showing an empty tank (which i thought was pretty close to what was supposed to be in it) then I go straight to a gas station ( not even a mile away) and stick about 5 gal. in, start her up , and the fuel is showing almost a quarter of tank. So I think "alright it's working". .....WRONG........My trek to work is about 20 min and on my way I notice that every couple of min or so the fuel goes up a bar or two until by the time I got to work it was showing a full tank!.............Any ideas?

 

I have done some work on it. I replaced the driver side quarter panel and drivers door. Where is the connection for the fuel sending unit? is it in or under the car towards the back seat? and are the fuel and temp connected some how to where if one was crap the other would suffer?

 

Yes it is the " crapy aszz " digital display. Whats so "crapy" about it?
