Hey guys, I was wondering if you have this issue too. If you are rolling...can you put your car in first?? I am talkign about if the car is moving at all!!. I can't. Wondering if this is a common issue.

pain in the *** and tends to grind

 

I had same problem with my old H23 tranny. 1st and 3rd gear syncros where shot. Could not downshift into 1st or even get into gear when rolling, and had to shift into 4th then into 3rd, for 3rd gear.

 

Its normal for our transmission to refuse 1st gear when rolling.

Why do you need to go into 1st when rollin anyways?

 

I can't stick it in! well not when i'm moving.

At first i thought it was abnormal, but i'm glad to hear its a everyday thing.

 

No need with the H23 torque MONSTA! Unless I do a full stop I easily pull away in 2nd. Not a good idea to force it in there mmmmkay.

 

if i do double clutching i have no problems

 

same here i just dont bother with first gear, along the same lines, my idle RPMs went up recently...why? it was about 800 now its 1500, could that bc its so damn cold? also when i start rolling my speedometer doent leave zero for about 5 seconds....?
