Default engine experts...is there anything wrong here?

Is there anything wrong or different with this engine bay? I am fixing to have to drive like 400 miles if I want to buy it. Is that a gold radiator? I know you can't tell a whole lot but....

If you're talking about the valve cover ground, it looks fine to me.

It looks clean and stock to me. I think the gold is really a shiny brown stock radiator. In my not so expert opinion it LOOKS like it would drive well beyond 400 miles.

that is no gold radiator, it's probably the camera's flash.

the older GSR's had a larger, less efficient ABS system...

Stock radiators almost always bust. That looks like my old one that busted all the damn time. Better replace it sometime in the near future.

Everything looks good from here. The grounds look right..the abs looks the same as my 94 gsr....it looks clean..for being 94-97? As for the radiator question..its the lighting of the pic..my first radiator was a bronw color..kinda like that one...i believe its the denso radiator or the showa..one of those brand that honda uses.

Yes something is very wrong. Youre heat shield looks way too new. Sorry, but no heat shield on a 94-95 is that color...somethings up

spark plug wires look old. may need a tune up. brake fluid looks a little low. may need brakes soon. belts look old. you should keep an eye on that radiator for leaks. has an alarm on it of some sort. make sure it looks like it was installed good, otherwise you might have problems with it in the future if it was a hack job. oil cap looks a little shinny and so does the heat sheild. but other than that, looks like clean stock motor. but the best thing to do is to check how it runs. pull out a spark plug and inspect it, and maybe do acompression test.

If you feel unsafe with the car's maintainence, just check up on all of it and you'll be fine. Everything looks fine on the engine bay to me.

beware of a car with a new radiator. i know that the shitty oe radiators go all the time, but not everyone catches it in time. not everyone knows that its bad to operate a car with the temp gauge pegged on "too damn hot" i have seen stories on this and other boards of peoples wives driving cars into the ground becasue "that gauge" was broken. if i sound bitter, then ask me what my mech found when he looked at my car AFTER i bought it. always have it checked out, or sign a mechanical contigency that states if the car takes a **** out due to a pre existing condition the previous owner refunds.
