hey guys i dunno if u can help me here cuz most of u guys don't have a del sol let alone a Del Sol with the power roof..

but if any of u can help me in the slightest i'll be very happy...


well incase u don't know how it works it's like this:

u roll up all your windows pull hand brake, unlatch the two side locks... the thing starts beeping at u... u press the roof button, the trunk rises to the level of the roof, then a screw lifts the rear end of the roof and two forks reach out of the trunk and pick it up,u undo the last latch, roof get's sucked into the trunk and then the trunk goes back down...

BUT on mine.. i unlock the sides, the thing starts beepig, i press the button and nothin happens....

the trunk works fine when i use the key and it opens and closes normally, but not from inside..

so i think it's a wiring issue...

anyone know where i can begin? or how to isolate such a problem, or even direct me somewhere??

check the continuity between the button and the module that goes out to life the roof is all i can say. check all your ground points too! Those will always get you!
