Finally got a rear disk converison!! But ?'s about the ABS lines
Yep I finally got my rear disk conversion they are out of a 97 Del Sol that had the b16 in it stock. Now I have questions. As I was removing all the old cut brake lines and cut e brakes cables I started think about the ABS wire. I started to unscrew all the bolts that held the ABS wires in place until I got to a small dust cover (maybe an 1"x1"). It was held onto the back of the rotor by 2 10mm bolts. I removed the bolts and saw that the wires were going into what looked like a small box sealed with 2 philps head screws. I stopped when I got to that point, because I did not want to mess anything up, to ask you guys what to do. Should I just cut the ABS wires and leave that other stuff in place or should I remove everything? I do not plan On have ABS brakes on my car. Thanks in advance you guys are
The unit you saw was the ABS wheel sensor itself. You can remove it and it won't affect anything or you can just cut the wires.
