Default Stock b16 rods and JE pistons...

I have searched the topic some and heard a little about pressure cracking when taking the old rods off the stock pistons, but if done correctley and rods are not pressure cracked, can they be used on JE 9:1 compression pistons? See I got a really good deal on the pistons and dont have enough money to buy some quality rods like H-beams so my question is would this setup (stock rods and JE pistons) be allright on no more than 10 lbs. of boost and not revving past 9k? Any input appreciated

at 10 pounds it will not be a problem. you will have to have a machine shop bore out the wristpin hole. je pistons come with floating wrist pins and the factory rods use pressed in pins.

If your only running 10lbs, i would just leave it stock for now.
Buy the pistons, and save them until you can afford to get rods.
