Default Subframe reinforcement

Hey guys, does anyone know of anyother brands/manufactures that make a subframe reinforcement kit (plates i guess) for the rear sway bar? I've only found Beaks that have something. Is there no other competition?

There is a sway bar setup made by Comptech that might do what you want.
If you have either a 4th or 5th gen Prelude-the sway bar mounts from Neuspeed should work as they are quite heavy. A number of Prelude owners had mount failure due to the bar being 28mm rather than 25mm. Solution was to have a frame shop weld plates in on top and bottom in some cases.
I will suggest that you have a frame/chassis shop go over the car very carefully before you buy any parts. Repair what needs repaired and then consider the choices.

just weld a plate on top of the mounting arm, and then re drill the mounting hole.

Suspension Techniques won a SEMA design award for a system that does such a reinforcement, much like Comptechs. As mentioned, one can also do your own reinforcement if fabbing and welding are possible.

The comptech unit is excellent. They even incorporated trenches to run the ABS lines through in stead of having them hanging loose.
