Redline Oil
I've been running Redline Oil and K&N high performance oil filter in my car. See sig below... Is it worth it at $15/quart and $10 a filter? Or should i just go back to mobil 1 syn and Honda filter? and if so mobil 1 tri syn or regular synthetic?
You're getting ripped off on the Redline! Go to this website:
http://www.myoilshop.com/
They must be updating their website right now because there are no links to pricing. It's $7/quart.
What oil is the best to use is a matter of opinion. Most people here will tell you to use Mobil 1 and a stock Honda filter. Mobil 1 is good, but the Honda filters are Fram garbage. I personally use Redline and K&N for now, but I might give Mobil 1 a try again. BTW, Mobil 1 is no longer Tri Synthetic, but Supersyn and believe it or not it's actually an improvement. The best information on oil and filters is here:

Just do some reading there and maybe even have an oil analysis or two done to see for sure how the Redline is doing. Redline is great for racing, but there have been several debates as to whether or not Redline's chemical composition is good for the street. Some people get strange results when they have their used Redline analyzed. They use an excessive amount of Molybdenum for some reason and Redline is rather tight lipped about their formula. Anyway, there's a lot of information there, so have fun!
