You'd be better off selling the coupe and getting a Crx or Hatch. J/K
I'd go with the b18c5 but that's just IMO.

stock bottom end b18c1 or b18c5 shortblock with aftermarket ported head (portflow, alanis, etc)
fairly big cams & valvetrain: toda, jun, ef1, skunk2
aggressive intake manifold & big t-b: skunk2, aebs, jg, etc
header: an-r, smsp, dtrfab, hytech, headertech
and the basics (intake, exhaust, flywheel)
ability to tune fuel.
rev it to 8500+ and you should be good to go.
you can hit 200 whp with stock bottom end with the right parts.

hmm, where's rocket...his sig basically covers what i said.

That should give you a good idea on what to do.

Good luck!

As of right now it's going to be a daily driver, I'd like to hit high 12's if possible, or low 13's I would really like to get the b16b because nobody has it, but I can get an h22 motor and tranny for 1,500 is this a reliable swap? will it still handle well? Ive heard you can make power steering work but I'm not sure how, is it just cheaper in the long run to just get a B series engine, money is kinda an issue but isn't it always! thanx alot!

H22 would work, but the extra weight my work against you.
you must also remove as much weight as possible to help you out.
(I know, bottles are for babies...but if done right, wet setup with Nitrous would add some power. But that's not all motor, but just thinking out loud).

I'm not a fan of the H22, because of the weight issue. And getting your hands on a B18C5 (ITR engine) would cost a lot new, or find a used one that hasn't been beaten is rare at best.

Why not start with a B20 from the last gen CR-V, and put a stroker kit (you can use a B18C1 (GS-R) and install a stroker kit.

just some thoughts.
