my friend has a code and i have no clue how to read it..it has 8 long light and 1 fast one..what could could that be..it's on a 97 LS..if you wanna know what's wrong..when he's in any gear around 2-3k the car starts to jerk. any help would be appreciated.

i just had that( but my car died completely and wouldn't start, zero spark), it ended up being my ignitor. my screw on the rotor backed out and shorted my ignitor.

ignitor oem=202
leak guard and screw=175
and 120 labor.
my bill was ~500
never going back to this dealership.
