Default I'm trying to cut up my Integra, what to use?

Ok well I totalled my Integra a year ago, been parting it out since and now I finally got rid of everything so I'm trying to cut it up so I can recycle the metal. The problem is I don't know what to use! I bought a Sawzall (it's actually made by Porter) but it takes too damn long to cut. I was told to use a torch? Anyone ever done this before? What did you use? Lemme know guys I need help! Thanks.

if you just want the car to be gone, call a junkyard, theyll pick it up free

Well I can get some money out of the metal I recycle. Some guy told me he recycled his old car (cut it up in pieces using a saw from his friend's shop) and he got $300 for it. My friend recycled his front clip remains and got $40 out of it. So why not.. Plus I'm not sure a junk yard would want my car, there's nothing left of it, just a fucked up BARE chassis.

Don't think the scrap metal yard will take the car whole. The guy who got $300 had to cut his up. BTW The car is just a chassis, no suspension, wheels, doors, nothing.

well I have parted out a few cars. and I just use a sawsall and a bunch of blades.
if you cut it into 3rds then you can fit the whole car in the back of a truck. its eerie looking.

Would you recommend I actually buy a Sawzall? I don't see a difference between what I got and a Sawzall, I'm even using the Sawzall blades. My saw is 10amp 230 SPM, is it sufficient?

I'd give it to a junkyard. Screw all that cutting junk. If you have the desire to do so though go for it man.

Ya at work we cut up Alfa Romeos all the time. Mostly Milanos. I have done two in the past few months. Next time Ill take pics. its really funny looking. When its cut into 3rds two guys can lift th parts into a pickup truck and place them vertically, and the whole car fits in the bed.

I used to cut up old vw's at the shop I worked at. Use a sawzall with a metal blade. You will go through 2 or 3 blades, so buy a few.

I've got a Dewalt "Sawzall" that cuts up everything. I suggest you get one and get some good METAL cutting blades...not ones for drywall.

dewalt 18v cordless circular saw (WITH METAL CUTTING BLADE) this thing is bad ***.. just dont let it walk on you and cut off your finger

but it cuts metal beams and sheet 2x faster then a sawzall and the blade last longer

Use a cutting torch. It will do twice the work of any sawzall in half the time. Oh yeah, I think an Acetylene torch would work.

i wouldn't use a torch. I started cutting up my crx, what a pain in the ***. it kept catching fire and smoked real bad. I've never used a saw to cut up a car, but that's probably what I'd do if I had to do it again.

BWHAHAHAHA that is quite disturbing. LOL

My trash company would've thrown that **** back into my yard or not picked it up at all. LOL

Also if you are gonna cut it up, as Sawzall and Zizwheel work wonders on anything.
