Or is it better to convert to obd1 or 2?

It all depends on the circumstances and your budget and how much work you want to do.
What OBD is the car, that the engine is going into?
Do you have OBD0 parts laying around?
And what wire harnesses are you getting with the engine?
And how comfortable are you with the wiring changes?
for me. Didn't see the "CRX" in the topic.
So it is OBD0. but is it an Si?

You could convert the engine to OBD0......OR convert the CAR to OBD1 or 2. That's up to you.
To convert the engine, you'll need an OBD0 ECU, dizzy, and injectors.
And use the resistor box that's already in your car. A little rewiring and you're done.
But from ALL I've read, here on HT, it might be better to convert the car to OBD1.

What do you MEAN by difference? Difference in what regard?
What are you trying to accomplish?

What would i gain from going to OBD1.
If I stay on OBD0 I just need dizzy, and injector, and an ECU.
If I go to OBD1 i need to get wire harness. and dizzy, injector and ECU.
The point is it save me time and money from getting the wire harness.

If you plan on leaving the car somewhat stock and using it as a daily driver, and not putting a VTEC engine in it, you CAN stay OBD0. It WILL be cheaper than going to OBD1, in the short term, if the engine you are putting in does NOT come with any OBD1 extras, like dizzy, ecu, etc.
