I just picked up a Tanabe Racing Medallion for a pretty good deal. The catch is that its for an LS and I have a '98 GS-R. As far as I know, all I need to do is extend the b-pipe roughly 4.5 inches. Here's the deal though, the TRM has a bottleneck at the front of the b-pipe and I was wondering if I could just have that part cut off and have the extension piping that's being welded on be 60mm along with a 60mm exhaust flange. Will that exhaust flange fit a stock cat? Also, I have a friend with a ITR cat laying around in his garage. If I were to bolt that up would the TRM fit without any modification?
