Default Recommendations on a good muffler?

A guy I work with is looking for a muffler ( or axle-back, if they are available) for his daughter's 98 Civic EX. It doesn't have to be the greatest performing muffler, but it can't sound like a swarm of angry bumblebees ...so can anyone recommend a good sounding muffler? TIA

Or if you want cheaper and (IMO) better, the magnaflow ovals. I have the 2.5 in/out oval can in SS and that coupled with a 22in resonator (magnaflow) and 2.5in piping roxors.

If you want a bolt-on axle back, try looking at the flowmaster one. I was about to get that one for my gf's 98 Ex but I'm gonna get a WS from someone on the board.

ES oval isn't engineered for sound, it's just engineered to quiet things down.

Quiet, respectable mufflers are:
RS*R ex-mag
mugen twin loop
Apex'i WS
Greddy Evo

Do most of you use a resonator when you set up your exhaust?

I would recommend using a resonator, cause without it, the last time I made a custom exhaust, it sounded like **** till I put a resonator in, then it sounded good.

And I like all the axlebacks listed, but I'm going with an ES oval myself
