if you do, show us some pics of it installed. Ive noticed its a little bit smaller than the old version of VAFC. i wanted to know how it fits, especially on the ash tray part.

I have one at my house..my car should be done next week and then I'll install it. It is a lot smaller than the first version...the first version looked light it fit quite snug in the ashtray area...the vafc2 looks like it will leave some room , definitely from top to bottom. I'll probably just install mine in front of my gauge cluster, since it is black, it blends in a lot better than the first version.

Instead of fitting really snug, it will be loose in that area. It is a lot smaller.

Do you know if you currently have the first version can you plug it into the old harness?

It will not. Due to different plugs.

Too bad they don't. That would have made it a lot easier if someone wanted to upgrade.
