Like almost everyone who goes to the track, I got shoe polished put on my windows for numbers. Well, when the time came to clean them off........it wouldn't all come off. Now I have little white specs all over my rear/side and front window that wont come off for anything.

Does anyone know how to get these specs off.

 

Funny I had the same problem today........it usually comes off with some water and a cloth.....but for some reason, it didn't today, maybe I used a different brand (shoe polish)......then my friend told me to use break cleaners. Just spray some on a cloth and wipe away........worked for me.

 

try using a razor blade. then just wash it with windex

 

nail polish remover takes it right off

not sure if it has any adverse effects though.. maybe someone on here knows

don't get that brake cleaner or nail polish on the paint or more than the shoe polish will be coming off!

 

I get most everything off with denatured alchol, and then clean with glass cleaner. the sooner you clean the shoe polish off the easier it is.
