I was just wondering if anyone knew what happens when you break a motor mount...

Some of the symptoms of a broken motor mount are kind of obvious. First off when you shift some what at hight rpms fast you will hear a clank or popping noise. Also your motor tends to vibrate a bit more. Just pop your hood and look at the mounts, if you see any oil around the mounts they are done.

I think I was the first RSXS to bust his motor mount.

Another sympton: steering wheel shakes when at a standstill/stop. Once you get going, it stops vibrating.

Unless you have the J's damper or the ES motor mount inserts, thats normal.

Pop the hood while its running, and if the motor is jumping around floppin like a fish outta water, your mounts are shot. lol. j/k bro!
