Stupid turbo question

Stupid Garrett turbo question
Ok, just got through reading these 2 archived threads. (Really good chit BTW, your board rules).

Now that I have a basic understanding of all the numbers I have a silly question: Lets say I buy a T3/T04E .60 A/R turbo with a 50 trim wheel (assuming that turbo exists). Can one just swap wheels (like a 60 trim) without modifying the housing? If so, the Garrett turbo's are kind like Lego's. Mmm.. fun
