Will the JDM header fit on a gsr?

if not; is it possible to do light modifications to make it fit?

whats dif? bolt pattern on block or length and hanger locations?

 

Length is different. Also the lower header bracket will not fit (you will need a JDM one, but I do not use it and have not heard anyone having problems without it.)

All else will fit.

You will need a JDM length CAT to fit to the stock B-pipe. I would suggest you get a high flow cat and 2.5" Cat-back exhaust. If you use a USDM CAT, then you will have to shorten the B-Pipe (which then you can remove the small bottleneck at the flange too)

I personaly have a JDM header, A.Teo ( length modified Carsound ) CAT fit to the stock Type R B-Pipe. The stock B-Pipe is a bottleneck. I dynoed with a test pipe and stock B-Pipe and gained 3 WHP by running out of the test pipe.

Basically, the B-Pipe only held up 3 WHP

 

yes it will fit w/ slight modifications. like mentioned previously u can get a 2.5 inch cat like a spoon, or do what i did and get a custom flange built by a muffler shop. i have the DC sports type R jdm header, im not sure if its the same w/ the other headers. i got a turbo so im trying to sell the header, id let it go for 300 w/ the flange, the header was 390 and flange was 70, it was used for like 700 miles..let me kno if youre interested.
