Default ***already search... too much info about sohc vtec in EF...help

Ok this is for my other buddy who is running into a problem with his D16z6 in to his 90 civic si. motor, tranny everything is in. He is using his old OBD-0 PM6 ecu and 90 si dristirbutor.

-he told me that his ef si dizzy will not fit on to the vtec head. I told him that he should be using the TOP & lower FRONT bolts and that he might have to drill alittle metal off to get it in. ...... I'm correct.. right?

he is using pm6 ecu
for vtec what is the cheapest and easyest way?
1) rpm tack and set the needle to 4500-4600rpms for vtec cross over?
.... more info on this about how to wire it up

2) MSD rpm switch part # PN8950 and an MSD module selector part # PN8670 with 30 amp automotive relay for 4g PM6..... more info on the wiring diagram and ECU pin points please...?

I know i have other options like Feilds vtec controller, AFC, covert to OBD1 ect.... I have no time for all of that work.. We just need somthing simple and quick.

your right on the dizzy issue, just tell him to use big washers.

as for the relay part, if i remember correctly, connect:
85 to the rpm switch, and opposite current to 86 (meaning if 12 volts is comming from the switch, then ground for the other
87 will be 12 volts, and 30 will go to the vtec solenoid

ur right
just tell him to get the Field's SFC-VTEC on the parts trader.... they go from 125-175...
and is better than getting a MSD swtich , wich at the end will cost u about 102 dollars....
and the vtec crossover u want its 4800 for now until u get it tuned

make sure you get that thing tuned because the PM6 ecu will not have proper air/fuel after vtec activates.
