Default B&M Command Fuel Flow FPR

Has anyone used this on their 98+ Accord? Just curious if this would work or not. Thanks.

The only things I've done is put an intake on and a higher flow exhaust. The thing is will this actually physically fit and work on a 98 Accord?

if they make one for the 98 on up accord then yes it will fit.As far as working yeah it will work but you will not gain anything from using it with the mods that you have done.Usually they are only helpful once you have done extensive modifications beyond i/h/e/.

Actually the truth is, most Honda automobiles at stock settings will run at the low end of the fuel pressure specs. For example at idle a 94 accord ex the psi range is 32-38 psi and at WOT its 41-47 psi. But yet they are set at 32psi idle and 41 psi WOT. You theoretically could boost psi to 38 psi @ idle and 47 psi @ WOT. If you run I/H/E that is basically a 8-10% air flow increase allowing a 8-10% fuel increase which calculates to a changed setting of 40 psi @ idle and 51 psi @ WOT which is just hairs outside of stock specs. You will definitely have no problems. Just check for overly rich conditions. At which just lower pressure down 2psi at a time. That is the way mine is setup and is has been a pretty impressive improvement from the original setup from the factory. Remember air flow must coordinate with fuel equally. Hope that helps.

They don't make one for the Accord, but looking at the rails and the pressure regulators on them they look the same. That is why I was wanting to know if one would work on the Accord, just curious if anyone out there has tried it?

wow very well put i have to admit. somebody has done their homework . in all honesty yes a fpr will help performance ( it did the job on my sohc turbo civic) but for just an intake and exhaust there are more things out there that could yield more power. With that said a b&m fpr is a mod that can and will work with what-ever you do and you can fine tuneyour air/fuel ratio with it. i do not recomend getting a fpr without getting a fuel pressure and air/fuel ratio gauges.

Yes!! I did forget to mention the need for a psi gauge. Although i utilized the dyno techie to monitor A/F ratios while he dialed in my car.

Wow, Thanks for everyones input!!! Still confused if it is worth getting or not now. The reason I wanted to get it was the fact that my plugs looked like the motor was running a little lean and I figured this would be the easiest fix. Sometimes the easiest isn't always the best though, any other ideas? Once again thanks, especially you vtec girl!

as long as your ar is running good. go ahead and get the fpr. if nothing else is causing it to runn lean then it would be a good mod.....it's only about 100$ so it is deffently worth it

if you have access to a dyno that is the way to go. . around here the only local dyno the guy will not put my car on there because he said he is worried about a high hp fwd car hopping off the dyno(?) .there is another one that is about 1 hour away but i have not had time to take it( i also only drive the car once a week if that)
