Default TRANSFORMING 94 INTEGRA: totalled to salvage?

Ok, so I bought a totalled integra... it's a '94 integra rs with a b20b. i am in the process of parting it out, but before i go too far, i'd like to know if it still has potential to become a normal car again. it has driver front end damage... the frame looks straight, but the driver side motor mount is damaged. how much would this cost to get fixed?? like, is there a way i can TRANSFORM this car into a salvaged JDM front end integra?? I really have no experience when it comes to reviving cars, so any help would be much appreciated! THANK YOU!

If there's no major frame damage then I don't see why you couldn't get it back to basically normal, except for the fact that it would still have a salvage title.

if it was hit hard enough to damage a motor mount, there is frame damage.

i inquired to a friend that i wanted to do the JDM conversion, and he said that in order to replace the motor mount, i (or a shop) would have to cut off part of the frame to weld on a new motor mount... true or not? maybe i should take pictures of the engine bay and the frame and you guys can tell me what you think... i'll have to take pix tomorrow though, it's almost 11pm.

oh, and i'd rather fix this car than go through all the trouble of parting it out. anyway i can, i'd like to restore the car.

what part of the mount is broken. its real easy to tell if you would have to weld a new one back on. If it has no bolts, then its welded,,lol. but you can always grind off the factory welds, and get a replacement mount from honda and weld it in.

I got a better idea, take the car to a shop, and have they measure the chassie allignment.

hmmm, the chassie alignment, does that decide whether the car's frame is damaged or not? that doesn't sound like a bad idea buddy! i'll get some figures tomorrow.

yeah, they put it on this huge rack, and use lasers to check the measurements from various points on the car, they can then pull it back into shape,, but its going to cost ya

ok, finally, the car is in a body shop. the guy was going to straighten the frame, and repair my motor mount for $250, but since i left the front bumper support, fender, and radiator support on, he's going to charge me a little extra. oh well... he said it shouldn't cost anymore than $400 to fix the whole car. NOW, all i need to find is a JDM front end... anyone have a used one or know someone selling one for under retail price??
