rsx BASE injen sri onto ep3?

I saw a used one for sale at a shop today. Guys who work there swore up and down it would NOT fit my car. (stock 03 si) is this true? it was a short ram injen off an rsx base model

It'll fit, might not be the right one but you can make anything fit. Just kind of funny that Injen would make two differently designed intakes for two different model cars. Maybe loss in some power w/the bend in pipe(RSX) for EP?
