Does anyone know the top speed of the insight? I remember i read it to be 80mph. That seems a lil low to me. I'm asking because i was driving on the highway tongiht and a insight passed me at about 75-80mph. I actually think he was racing a 5th gen prelude and a civic. Not too sure. But he passed me pretty quickly.

 

Yea I thought it was 90, but I dunno if thats cause lack of power or gearing. Wouldn't it be fun to swap out the insight motor and punt in an H22A or soemthing fun.

 

have you seent he interior of an insight? its pretty good looking. the seats i love. that's the only thing i really remember. its' very environmentally friendly, but honda put a BIg price tag on it. (18.5)

 

technology costs a lot of money and honda looses over a grand on each insight made. they weigh about 1800 lbs. top speed is 90mph, governed because of the weight.
