lower tie bar
I wanna start going to autocross & i was wondering, How much do lower tie bars help. Right now I have neuspeed race springs (3"in drop) with upper front & rear bars.
Also I have 14's in the front & 17's in the back (tires). Should I run all 17's or I could mix it up.
TIA

Not worth it while you're still learning (debatable if they are ever worth it).

Try finding some stock wheels and run some 15's. Integras have no use for 17's at an autocross.

Neither do tie bars and upper bars.
Just go out and have fun and dont worry about the car. Ask lots of questions when you get there and ask for ride-alongs with the fast drivers (bring an air sickness bag).

First, get all 14 or 15 inch wheels and a good set of tires. I've heard, (but personally have no experience) that sway bars/lower tie bars make a very large difference in handeling. I would get shocks before a tie bar though.
I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

I beg to differ... I first installed front and rear struts and I could tell a huge difference..i then installed front and rear lowers and gains were minimal, they were noticeable but not by much, maybe a 10% increase in stiffness. they cross members to which they attach are already so stiff that you don't need the lower tie bars.

LOL...That's gotta be a first. I mean i've heard of butt-dynos and g-meters but this is the first butt-chassis-stiffness meter...
Sorry, couldnt resist...

You're qualifying chassis stiffness with seat-of-the-pants street driving measurements?
Please.
