Default Godspeed Test Pipe issues

I know this is an old issue but I'm in the middle of installing mine (along with a bunch of other stuff) with a JDM 4-1 header. The front flange was too narrow so the bolts would not line up with the holes on the header so I am having the flange cut in 2 and then a piece welded in the middle to make it wider, since I have heard these pipes are too long just curious what folks have done to make them fit, thanks.

seriously, there are so many problems w/ these damn test pipes...everyone should just send them all back to him...let him deal w/ them and get them fixed right for everyone...

I hear from a few people on H-T that his customer service is great, although I have yet to see him replace any of them or even offer for that matter. he just says "I'll tell the guy that makes them" A lot of good that does for the people that already have them...
