street races used to be at hunts point bx

and other places but since juliani started taking cars
that was it now only kids race out there but not as good
as back in the days.. Litterally hundreds of cars used to be
out there but now I think you missed it all...

hell yeah man..like 2 years ago it used to be poppin!!! there was way more than 100 cars..but no po-po shut **** down and u cant have fun....

Ahh "The Good Ol Days!!!" We used to stay at Hunts point untill the sun came up. It was alot of fun but got way out of hand. People just couldnet control themselves. Flatlands was also a great place anlong with The Tanks out in GreenPoint. I remember the HOLE out in Newark from way back when. I hear there are still fast domestics out there. The Domestic Guys (Low 10 sec High 9 sec cars on the street!!) still get their big money runs in all the time you just gotta know when and where. Oh yeah I have a very fast Integra but still

yeah jersey got some decent spots as well... "they" meet up at a common hangout spot.. set something up, and take it else where.. AWAY from local streets where ppl are proned to be crossing and what not... not too long a ago. one of my boys, there was getting his coffee... and all these little boys were getting their hard on... and i was too but.. chill. theres not need to jump up and down.. screaming.. OOOOOOO its a Dodge Hennessy Viper!!!! but anyways.. we were there minding out business... then all the little boys got into their riced out crx's and 91 tegs.. thinking that were all that... trying to impress this guy... they took it out on the streets and left us talking to the owner of the Viper...
he was saying that it was a pretty fast (he wasnt big headed about it). so we were like... hmmmm i have a friend he has a pretty decent dsm... his name DRE. (for all you jersey heads) he came down.. and he was like i just want to see how long i can hang with you.. can we go on rt 78.. and stuff....
to make a long story short....
both took it to rt 78.. traffics really dead around this time of night.. they took it past newark a/p heading towards Livingston
they were coming from a roll..
2nd gear- both side by side
3rd- we all expected the viper to be a good 10 car lengths ahead.. WRONG
still side by side... mind you they are well over 115mph
4th- viper is inching way.... but still the gsx was only a bumper behind..
end of 4th, Dre let go cus he knew, that they Viper had 2 extra gears and 6 extra cylinders of power..
(for all you etown heads.. you must have seen this Viper.. hes always there.... he also drives the blue Evo with the Pruven Cf hood and Pruven front mount)
so basically what im trying to say was... jersey got their spots too... you just need to know where to look. and im sure that they have plenty of spots up in teh Burbs of NY. ooo wasnt there some spot up in Palisades Center Mall in Nyack? i was told that every wed night... they are all out at the local DnD's dont know if they are still there...

yea and theres some shyt goin down in Staten now but its gettin worse and worse with the cops.. but suprisingly alot of Jersey boys have been comen out here whats up with that??

Has been great for as long as I can remember, this is going back like 10 year ago. They still get alot of money runs in every wed. and Sun. Night. Lot of Imports too - Serious about racing. Set up the race---->Take it to the highway (well organized..)

I agree....NYC is the greatest city in the world!! There is none like it! But there are too many potholes here in NYC and it's wack.....that means no rims for me! Hopefully there can be more meets come spring time...
