Backfire and popping when I hit the gas hard.
First this is in my 92 GSR. When I get on it hard sometimes it will backfire and sputter then pick back up. It has BS Auto Zone wires now could this be the problem? Also I have no check engine lights.
do you have a fart can for a muffler? not sure of what your talking about really but if your talking about your exhaust then you either got a shitty brand or you need to get a full exhaust.
a ton of ricers around here slap mufflers on their cars and expect them to sound good. little do they know that the car sounds a lot different on the outside then it does on the inside.....sounds like a pack of bees got loose in your exhaust.

to start off check the gap on your sparkplugs
then the condition of wires, cap and rotor
and make sure you are using premium gas on your car..

Are there a lot of bumps and potholes around where you live? Look under the car and check the exhaust pipes. If the pipes are bent/crushed then that's your problem.
Just a possibility.
