Q's about TEIN HR's
I'm thinking of buying a set of used TEIN HR Coilovers and I have a couple of questions.
1) I understand that HR's are not adjustable like the HA but I was wondering what setting on the HA"s would the HR"s be equivalent to?
2) For those who have the HR's, how do you like them? Are they really stiff? Any problems? How is the handling with them installed?

I think the fairest comparison would be if you set the HAs to about click 2 or 3 and you'd get about the HRs stiffness rating...
the higher you go with the HRs the stiffer it gets...since you are compressing the main spring...that is my experience with an EK hatch I've been working on....
the ride quality is the ***** on a Prelude since it is so stiff legged..it feels at home on the circuit...but on a Type-R is not too bad.... since N1-R has them here in Vancouver.... he rides them quite low as well.

I'd think a bit more than 2 or 3 clicks (prob closer to 5, but then hard to say because of height/compression) to compare to HAs, but will confirm that BB6 w/ HRs ride like crap in the city. ITR is better, and so are Civic Si(R) w/ HR.
