Default K&N in the Comptech Ice Box?

I just got my comptech ice box the other day and was wondering if any of you guys running this have switched to the K&N filter? if so what is the part number for it? I think I like the K&N filter better b/c it looks like it filters better and doesnt get as dirty as fast

isnt that the filter for the stock integra replacement
I figured it would no need the bend that the integra does with the stock elbow?
I forgot to mention that I have the full system (ice box and bling bling intake arm)

E2427 is bigger than the RU3130.

E2427 is the biggest size K&N that filts the stock box/IceBox.

I'm using the RU3130 with the IceBox. Only $30.

Here is my icebox (arm painted black, the paint is mint, its just dirty) on my 2k EBP.
I didnt like the comptech foam either so i went to my local K&N dealer with the foam filter and told them to match it up sizewise, he looked in his K&N book and had it to me in 3 days.

How would a stock filter work with an Ice Box? I'd imagine that the Ice Box would require some kind of cone-shaped filter.

Also, does the K&N filter make the intake louder? If so, by how much?

Nope, not sure how the size compares to the 2427, but the 3130 is a tapered "cone" type as opposed to the cylinder type.

I paid $29.99 for mine at Nopi of all places.

it can work with the ice box but if you own the aluminum arm with the ice box they wont match up
still searching for the part number for the filter that works with the full comptech set up

if the comptech arm is the same diameter as the stock arm it should work.. just got my e2427 and it pops right into the stock box/arm perfectly... I figure comptech's is similar?

only one way to find out.

A.

Yes, it can.

So would using a K&N filter in an Ice Box make the intake louder? If so, by how much. For me, the quieter the better.
