Help with engine hoist
Here is how we have it hooked up
now with the way its hooked up i cant put the tranny back on. where else can i put the bolt. can someone please help me. its a b16a1 engine.

Yeah then if anything you could even put the chain back in the same place after the tranny is attached.

The way I did it on my d16a6 was straight from the helms book. One part attached to a bolt back by the intake manifold on the driver side. And one hook on a bracket on the tranny. It came in and out perfect. I say put the tranny on, and use the bracket on there (it has a little hole)

LOL, that reminds me of a swap me and some friends did. We pulled the whole engine and tranny out using one bolt, I stood out of the shop scared the **** would fall and wreck havok. LOL, good ol' times! (I really need to learn how to resize
)

What? You've got to be kidding??? Mine slide right on and it was sitting on the oil pan in my garage. I change both fly and clutch and used the alignment tool. If you haven't moved the clutch it will just slide right back on. I think you might be making this just slightly more difficult than it needs to be.
