Default Found an 1989 Honda Civic CRX si for sale

He is asking $2.5 without rims. It is in AWESOME shape, and everything works good, no rust. Is that a decent price? I think these crx's are getting even more rare becuase I havent been able to find an 88-91 crx under $1k in a few months..

That's an excellent price for a stock Si in good condition with no rust. Go for it!

I paid 2200 for a stock 1990 Si. It had all the rust removed, and brand new Y-49 paint (only 1 month old). stock directional wheels were perfect, and came with a spare set of steelies with snow tires. best 2200 I ever spent.

honestly tho, for a stock 1989 Si in great shape I'd prolly pay 2 grand. engine is a little less peppy and it has rear drums. it's lighter tho. what wheels is it coming with? by "no rims" I assume you mean he's taking off the custom rims and giving you stock wheels?

you have a point tho that stock CRXs are getting very rare in good condition. It's actually hard to find one around me that doesn't have a B16 swap. I had to hunt for a stock one. maybe the extra price is worth it for a dying breed of car. this isn't to say a B16 swap is bad... I just want it stock to start with so if it's not rel;iable after teh swap it's my own damn fault.

i paid $1800 for my 91 si about 3 years ago and I thought I was ripping the guy off.
$2500 is a good fair price in my opinion for a excellent condition si.
