Help: Place Racing Crossmember Install
ok , i have a 1991 Civic Si hatch..... Bought a PR crossmember and just wondering how hard it is to install....
Just trying to get a feel of process of the install before i go and start wrenching...
Thanks
its very simple
remove the 4 bolts holding in the stock xmember 2 on each side
it should drop down and hang on the radius rods
remove the radius rod nuts
it will slide out then
next remove the factory tow hooks 2 bolts
then slide the PR xmember into the rods dont forget the bushings
hand tighten but dont snug them on yet
raise up the xmember install the 4 bolts but dont tighten them all the way just get them threaded
once its all lined up tighten down the xmember then the rods
DONE

It's the same as the stock one, very easy, but you have to remove your stock tow hooks to make it fit better.

dont forget to get an alignment..... i put on the crossmember thinking it had the exact same placement as stock, then put on new tires and within a month and a half the outside edge was bald due to toe in.
its not a hard install though, jsut do what was said above
