Default zc or si

I purchased a 16 valve si engine and put it into my 1990 crx hf and several after market parts such as headers, crane cam, fuel rail, and other bolt ons. But the other day i blew then engine and when i tore the head off a ZC was stamped on the block. Some one told me that it was a zc but i have D16a6 crane came in it. So i need a way to tell if its a ZC and if it is what is the difference between it and the si. Any help would be apriciated because im really confused.
