if you were me and had 1k what would you buy?
ok looks like im gonna have 1k to spend within the next month so feel free to help me spend it!
my setup right now is 98 integra GS with 99 b20z
total engine mods:
b&m commandflow and guage
skunk2 intake mani
3" short ram
everything else stock
suspension:
koni yellows w/gc's 400f 350r
skunk2 rear sway
z-10's
205 azenis
neuspeed strut bars (all except front lower)
skunk2 front camber kit
brakes:
brembo blanks with metal master pads
drivetrain:
act clutch and prolight FW
USDM type r tranny with jdm 4.785 final
kaaz lsd
ive also removed p/s
now as you can tell im hurting in the power department so im set on getting engine mods and staying all motor. i was leaning towards full header/exhaust. anr for 500 shipped, 2.5" carsound cat and 2.5" back piping from kteller8 (accordinglydone.com) all around 1k installed.
i also was lookin into b20 vtec instead so maybe b16a head complete 400 or so, ctr cams like 300, aebs intake mani for 160 and about 140 in gaskets ect (head, intake, tb, water pump, timing belt, and head studs (arp). rod bolts would be nice too....) as you can see this will quickly add up to be more than 1k so i dunno...
any ideas?

either do internals
or slap in new cams/valvesprings/retainers like some EF-1 M21's.
edit, I see B20 no vtec...
do a B20Vtec a la J's Racing, good stuff

i say save a lil more and do a b20 vtec
b16 head $400/ pistons $300/ arp rod bolts $35/ arp head bolts $125/ machine work for the head and block $300/ oil line $100/
thats about 1200 save a lil more to replace parts like water pump timing belt main bearings etc..

IMO i'd go with the suspension mod cause stock suspension SUCKS!... oh BTE you don't have to spend hundreds on a sway bar... just get a OEM ITR 22mm bar with beaks or BSQ kit... that'll knock off a couple of bucks to something else

he already has some stuff done to his suspension.. nothing stock except front sway bar. skunk2 sway bar is 21mm I think.

i hava a b20. that means theres no OEM type piston for 300 that i can drop in there thats higher than what i have already. i would have to use forged pistons (about 500) and then have my stock rods machined to use them or use aftermarket rods (300 or so) so thats more than i want to spend.
i say go to gruopbuycenter.com and find get an exhaust, header, and cat that you want. should be right around the 1k that you have. then just put it on yourself.

i figure im gonna need the exhaust at some point..... i think it will be the best bang for the buck since im all stock now.. i still plan to do a vtec conversion in the future though
