Default hmm wow honda is a rip...

Well while installing my jdm fog lights I had to disconnect the battery. Well It seems I have misplaced my code somewhere in my house and I have no idea where to look. I read on here that if you called honda and gave them your serial number for the deck and the vin for your car that they can search their database and locate the code. Well I called honda (auburn honda) and the lady I talked to said it will cost $90 and 2 hours of labor to get my code...

wtf is this ****? 90 dollars? that ******* deck isn't worth $15

Just felt like ranting...

well does anyone one a way where I can rig my cd deck to work? I don't have the extra money to buy a new deck or money to burn to get my stupid code.

whenever I go to Honda to buy a part I stretch first, bring some vaseline and some tissues and just get ready to bend over.

Mine makes you come in person to verify that you are the owner of the car. Anyone can call with the serial # and the vin number.

The price she quoted is if you needed to GET the radio code also. Go in with the registration, DL or other photo ID, the radio code, and the radio's serial # and you should be set. I have never gotten charged to have any of mine looked up

a lil late, but there the number should be somewhere else ON the car. We had a CRV and it was somewhere on the trunk hatch... So take a quick glance around in your trunk and see if you find it.

yeap, i've heard of the trunk, glove box, and back of ash tray if you have one.. it all depends on where the original dealer wanted to stick it

To get the code for your stock radio all u gotta do is pull it out take it into the dealership.....and then have proper id that its your car either the title or liscense and registration to prove u are the correct owner of the car should cost u 5 bucks or something like that i had todo it when i first bought my lude should cost u under 10 dollars for sure and pulling the deck out is a ez thing todo..its the only way to get the code
