what does bright means?
exactly that... the Highs are bright... as in a light that's bright compaired to the rest of the lights around. There is more highs and they are very full. Not always a good thing, it's a personal preference. For example I tend to say "smooth" for silk tweeters and "sharp" for metallic, as to me that's how they sound.

that's about how i'd describe it, it's definitely based on personal preference

i like all my highs real bright - as in i squint when a high hat or cymbal, etc hits. i think i'd call it bright because a loud high note makes me squint like bright light.
