what header for ep3

Default what header for ep3

i have an 03 with a aem sri looking to get header this weekend but not sure if i should get the Comptech race header or just the regular one ???
any one have the race header is there a big diff. ???

With the race you wont have room for the cat so you would be running no cat and if you wanted to get a car on there, you would have to get a high flow cat. Then cut your exhaust to make room for it and weld it all together. With the high flow cat on there you would lose some power you would gain from the race header. With out a cat tho good luck with emissions.

There seems to be a little rumor roming that k-series only benefit for headers with long primaries. Cannot verify that but look around the comptech race header would be a great buy also check with smsp he may be able to make something for you, it will be a short wait but it will be good product

With comptech you definitely cant go wrong. You pay a little more but you can be sure its of the best quality. I would probably go with the DC stainless. Either one you cant go wrong.
