did anybody went to DRT?? i just checked out their website and they said for 695 dollars, they can boost the car upto 350 hp. is this possible?? i think they also charge 900 for installation, but still, is it possible?

I heard wth DRT that there are alot of SHADY characters hanging around. This is not a fact it is just something I have heard from diffeent people.

 

do you guys suggest me going to DRT or not? seems like people are shady over there. if i am going, i wanna put turbo.

 

If you can't tell from the above statements, then I'll sum it up for you. They are all saying DON'T GO THERE.

 

if u want a fast Turboed car you go to DRT for that, now about the SHADY people
IMO I think theres shady all around us in this industry. Think about it how can you tell when a person is shady from jump. But its your time and money so you do what your heart feels. I personally know Ralphy and his crew for a long time now.
Ralphy is one of those guys who know their ****, so being that he is a lil on the expensive side so save good $$$$$$$ and have him put it together and tune it.

Remember he does have a low 9sec car so you figure it out.........just my .02

 

the name ralphy from drt rings bells out here in jersey when tuning cars and such are brought up so i take that as he is well recognized for his work...

 

I don't think the people at drt are shady at all. In fact, they are very trusting. They let my friend leave the shop with his car so he could go to the ATM after $200 worth of dyno tunning.

I heard a rumor that ralphy was one of the first ones to put a honda in the 10s. He's been around for a long time. I can't comment on their work, but I know their labor is cheap. They have a in shop dyno and the tune hondata.

 

And for $695 you get A turbo good for 350hp.

they are good guys, does excellent work.. allmotor/fi.. whatever you want they can do.... just be prepared to whoop that wallet and start feeding them like as if they were a parking meter

 

i dropped by asking how much they were charging to tune my vafc and the rest of whatever i had done... they said that i had to pay somewhere like 100-200 to rent the dyno.... the paying another 250-300 for labor on the tuning......

to me thats way too much to just tune a car.. but what i dont get is... they are the only shop that i know of. askes pppl to rent out their dyno

Read first and stop spreading around false information.

talk to chameleon thats his name on the forums.. he has a place that he was telling me out in Long Island that does his tuning and installs.. they specializes in Hondata and basically the rest of the goodies.. i think the place is called NRG?
