benifits... the torque of the h23 with the hp of the h22

downfall... alot of money to get the bottom end setup for the h22 head and the posibility of a broken crank

I am in the midst of doing an h23 vtec I will let everyone know how it goes. I just need money to do a p&p job on the head

none.....

If thats all you have lying around than i guess. But that combo wouldnt result in much. mine as well keep the h23 block along with the head. The only benifit I see is the oil squirters. other than that nothing.
as far as boring goes what type of setup are you trying to go for? turbo, allmotor, etc...-pdang
