Which ECU should I get ??
Hello,
I'm wondering which ECU I should get for my '88' CRX Si which has a ZC enginge installed. There's a guy on the board that's selling a ZC ecu for $125 should I get it?? or should I just buy a '89' Teg ecu for about $150 from a used parts place.
Does anyone know which ECU will give me better performance? ZC ecu or the '89' Acura Integra ecu.
thanks in advance......

How much different is a '89' Teg ecu ??? Is the speed limiter higher than the ZC ecu of 112 mph ???
A guy here on the board just offered me one for just $50 I guess if it's legit then I should go for it right????
Help me out guys....

As far as I know the Teg ECU has no speed limiter. I had one running my ZC for a while before I went with a Chipped PM6.
$50 is a pretty good price for a Teg ECU. Make sure its a 88-89 model if this is going in a 88-91 model.

we have run both the PG7 (integra) and PM7 (ZC) and find no difference at all in how the car runs - get the integra - fuel cut-off is same on both at 7500

I dont see how that would happen. The PG7 ECU should run a little rich on a SOHC engine, seeing as how its made for a higher horsepower DOHC engine. I know i'll probably get flamed for this, but you know essentially, the D16A1 and ZC are *VERY* similar. The PM7 would be the ideal ECU, but if you cant get a hold of it, a PG7 will still rip major ***.
