Default Is this worth it?

its a 88 crx with a 1.6zc swap, but it needs a zc tranny. It has the stock one, but it is starting to slip, and just isnt good for what I want to do. It is beat up around the edges, but no rust. Just little knicks and dings lots of places. Nothing that cant be fixed i dont think. The interior is ok, and is overall a good car. Engine bay is clean, and the install was done by a pro. The brakes, and engine feel good. The guy is asking $2k. At first it was $2.5... Is this a good buy?

Um, judging from the limited info I have I'd say probably not. It's certainly no steal at $2,000.

If you like it and the price seems reasonable, go for it.

well in my area crx's are getting rare... not much for sale. Do you think it would be worth it to get a civic ef instead? Becuase I can get them for around $500, but I just dont know how they compare to a crx...

which ZC is it? black top DOHC, brown top DOHC, or SOHC? also, since there's no way to tell how many miles are on the engine you should ask him to let you do a compression test on it.
