D16y8 with d16y7 pistons and head?
I noticed that both sets of valves in the y7 and y8 heads have the same engine codes 12 and b2.
I was wondering if i could put the y7 pistons and y7 head in the y8 block?
Isnt the block essentialy the same... The other thing i was wondering about was could i do the y7 pistons in the y8 block with the y8 head..... Just wondering because ive got all these spare parts. Tryin to make something that works...

I always though they were the same with just a different headgasket and other minimal things. I have been known to be wrong before though
