".:s h a w n D:. (9:52 AM 10/1/2003): to install your headunit you need the adapter harness for your make/model car its like 10-15 bucks connect the color wire from the adapter harness to the corresponding colors of the new head unit attatch the harness to the stock one that your car has and your set!!"
thats it?..greattt...one thing do I need to get any extra wires or wiring harness, orrr can i use the same connects used to connect the stock unit on the new one?

do it the right way.... get some bell caps (about 15) and zip ties. cap all of the wires, even the ones you're not using so they don't ground out. As far as the lude, just pop off that trim ring around your cd player and pocket with a small flathead screwdriver, but be careful not to scratch it. then, you'll see 4 8mm bolts, and undo those. self explanitory from there.

Bah, here's how you do it. Get the harness, either from BB or Circuit city. If it's a brand either carries you should be able to get a harness that goes right from the radio to the car, or from the radio to universal and then universal to car. Also get the dash kit (such as the AMI HON-K828). To remove the old radio, just pop the back trim around the radio area off. It's tuff some times and the clips like to fall back down into the dash. remove the 4 screws and take old radio out. Put kit together, and mount radio in it, put dash back together, put harness into dash, take kit and plug harness into radio (antenna too!) and then stick the kit into the spot where the old radio was. Bingo, you're done.
