Im gonna be buying a WS exhaust hopefully really soon. I was just wondering what it would sound like with a straight testpipe on it instead of a resonated testpipe. Of course it will be louder but w/ a resonated testpipe you can barely even hear anything at all. Lemme know if anybody has a straight testpipe w/ the Apex'i WS cat back on their cars and how it sounds. Thanks.
i know of someone who ran a non resonated testpipe with a apexi ws and it he said it was still quiet.
do have a H22? otherwise it's not worth it, just get a high flow cat. even with the H22 i would still rather have a high flow cat. i still made some really good numbers with my h22 and apexi ws with a carsound cat.

i run a 2.25 inch straight testpipe w/ 2.25 inch mandrel bent, 1 12" resonator and a magnaflow muffler. (no relation, but comparion) it's loud as fawk. i love it, but it sure is loud. its raspy at half throttle, but at WOT it sounds hollow and its awesome!

Yes i have an H22, my friend just got a resonated testpipe with his WS exhaust and u cant hear anything at all. So i figure it cant be that loud with a straight testpipe on it.

i am sure you didnt get many gains either! the more you resonate and restrict air flow the more your hurting your performance.. as mentioned go with a High Flow Cat, its CARB ok and save a tree
