I know they are available. Summit Racing and Jeg's both have listings for them. My question is has anybody fabed up their own custom brackets? If it's anything like the mount bracket for the 89-91 then I would be reluctant forking out $45 for one. Does anybody have specs or picture of the mounts so I could copy them, and make them better? Thanks in advance

Yes. I know that. I allready have the bar on my 90 Hatch. I'm switching to 88 LCAs and wondering about the bracket. The 89-91 bracket is simple if it is anything like that then I can fab it up myself. Just wanting to know if anyone has done it before of has pics.
you really dont need the mounts to use the bar with an 88LCA. You will need to mount the link bearing onto the inside of the bar and turn the lower link so the bearing hole is running with the length of the car. It will line up perfectly with the OEM antiroll bar mount hole in the LCA. I can try to get you pics if this is unclear.

Yeah that would be great Fred. I've been trying to get to your site but it's been down for sometime. If you could hook me up I'd appreciate it. Obviously in that case I would have to use 88 Si LCA right? I don't think the HF's and DX's, had sway bar mounts, did they? I know the 89-91 didn't.
The 89-91 Dx/HF/STD did not have a swaybar mount on the rear LCA. The 88-91 CRX Si and 89-91 Civic Si all had swaybar mounts.

Hey Todd, thats strange, my 88 CRX hf car had swaybar mounts in the 88LCAs....possibly not factory, but I think all of the ITR style LCAs had swaybar mounts on them.

I thought that car you got was an HF. That's why I asked. You remember me Fred, from the Mansfield Auto-Xs? I drove the red CRX. It was way back when you still had the black Si. Well I got another car and I'm planning on doing alot of auto-x with it. Thanks for the help man if you could hook me up with a pick that would be awesome. Also do you know of any sites that go indepth in suspension setups? I know yours did, but it's still non-functional. Thanks alot Fred.

I simply used the ST "L" brackets with my 88/ITR LCAs. All I did was find a longer bolt, and then a spacer to take up the slack between the back of the bracket and the flat on the LCA where the bolt hole is. Since the LCAs have those raised bits on either side of the bolt hole, the "L" bracket gets locked in quite nicely.
I'd take pictures for you, but I don't have the OEM LCAs anymore. I got a set of these:

I edited my post. Meant to say all 89-91 non-Si did not have the swaybar mount. All 88 cars had the swaybar mount because of the unique control arms.

Thanks Fred, I wasn't sure if it was necessary either and spotted that adapter on Summit a while back. I am putting 88 LCAs on my Civic this winter. I'll see yah around sometime hopefully.
