sup guys , just ordered the type 31 fmic , do i need to modify my civic bumper to mount it.

you talking about the bumper cover or the bumper? if anything just remove the bumper, it's better than hacking one up.

u mean take my bumper off and leave it off?????

i think you misunderstood me , i was sayin do i have to trim the backside of my front bumper to my intercooler will clear.....

I have it installed on a 98 Coup and we had shave some of the black portions in the back in order to retain it. Or u can just cut the middle black portion out and it should fit fine.
