Has anyone stayed in a hotel near Nelson Ledges? If so, what place do you recommend?

This is a tough one...I don't think you're going to find a decent hotel within 15 minutes of Nelson.

If you want something close, they do have the campgrounds at the park, which is right around the corner from the track - that's where all the hippy kids hang out and smoke pot.

Other than that, I might check:
1) Hiram - small town about 10 minutes from the track, there is a college here so they have some bed and breakfasts at least. No bars/nite life that I know of.
2) Streetsboro - about 20 minutes west of the track, big exit off the Ohio turnpike so have several chain motels and restaurants. Not great but could work.
3) Warren - about 20 minutes east of the track, I don't know much at all about this area.
